Sanakaram Lokasankaram (Oru Nāṭyabhāshyam)

Ādi Sankara, the hitherto unparalleled personification of Advaidic wisdom, still stands as the untainted icon of Bharatheeya-samskriti. The 2 hour long presentation is a fine amalgam of the classical dances, Mohiniyattam, Bharatanatyam & Kuchipidi with few elements of Kathakali. The Nāṭyabhāshyam  is a humble attempt of the Sree Sankara School of Dance, Kalady, briefly visualizing few known episodes depicting the life and contributions of Ādi Sankaracharya, as a pioneer project of the institution with the motto, ‘Know the Hindu culture through histrionic offerings’.

Lyrics and direction by Prof. C.P. Unnikrishnan, music scored by Trissur Gopi, dance integration by Sudha Peetambaran. Concept – Prof. P.V. Peetambaran.
